Review
Corkagh Demesne playground certainly has the X factor... It is one of the most spacious playgrounds in Dublin and it is for sure entertaining even for kids who are hard to please. Besides the traditional swings, springers, multi play units and climbing structures, there are lots of other things that keep kids occupied for a long time.
The long and curved slide is safe, the wobbly balancing beams are challenging, the supernova roundabout and the gigantic sand pit are perfect fun for all ages.
The playground was revamped in late 2020, it got new surface, some nature play areas and a new zipline as well. Unfortunately, the public toilets at the entrance of the playground are closed, but next to the former pet farm there are two toilets that are open.
Near the playground there is a lovely rose garden which is interesting to visit, but simply following one of the trails of the park or playing ball games in the demesne's grounds might be relaxing and enjoyable as well.
How to get there: It is advised to visit the demesne by car.
